      reviews
      serve

      advertisements

      the
     
     
      record
      label
      that
      send
     
     
      them,
      good
      review
      or
      bad,
     
     
      and
      while
      this
      may
      seem
     
     
      distasteful,
      free
      ads
      for
     
     
      large
      fat
      pocket
      labels,
     
     
      sometimes
      you
      have
      no
     
     
      choice,
      its
      publish
      reviews
     
     
      ornothing.
      Well
      this
      one
     
     
      is
      bad
      man,
      real
      bad.
      In
     
     
      fact,
      The
      Methods
      of
     
     
      Mayhem
      and
      the
      live
     
     
      Marilyn
      Manson
      might
      as
     
     
      well
      be
      the
      same
      record.
     
     
      It
      sounds
      like
      the
      low
      hum
     
     
      ofa
      transformer
      box
      with
     
     
      an
      innocuous
      guitar
      riff
     
     
      (or
      five)
      thrown
      over
      top
     
     
      The
      lyrics
      (from
      MOM:
     
     
      “Get
      naked/c’mon
      baby
     
     
      make
      it
      hot’”’)
      are
      as
     
     
      illiterate
      as
      they
      are
     
     
      insignificant.
      In
      short,
      I
     
     
      would
      sooner
      have
      my
     
     
      head
      carved
      out
      like

      honeydew
      melon
      than

      would
      listen
      to
      either
      of
     
     
      these
      heaping
      piles
