Southern Pacific train between Marysville and Chico yester day afternoon, says a Californian ex- change, while he was enroute to his home here from San Francisco. lie had been in San Francisco for tho last ten days, undergoing treatment by a specialist. , ' Deceased was a native of Prince Edward island. and was sixty'-four _vcars old October 23 last. He had been in California thirty-four years, most of which period had been de- voted to mining activities in Butte county. He had interests in the Mag- alia ridge district.
