F. Arnett presiding and all members of the Council present. A number of petitions for side- walks were read arid a resolution was passed that they would be done when the work now in pro- gross is completed. Councillor T. D. Morrison said that he thought that these petitions should be taken in the order re- ceived. l-le said there i: urgent need for a sidewalk at the top of Summer Street where they have petition has been in for months. Mayor Arriett said that if the new hospital ls going ahead on that street and the people on the street want the sidewalk to be on the hos- pital side, they will have to wait until the area can be laid off. He said he had talked to some of the residents and they understood the situation.
