In reply to a question by Mr. Nicholson. his opinion was that the deceased had been facing the direction of the blow. the lacerat- ions on the front of the head had been paused by a sharp object. and the injuries at the back of the head were compatible with striking the road. Other Witnesses Leslie MucNevin. of Argyle shore. said- that he had returned from Charlottetown, driving his own truck. accompanied by Don- ald MaoPhaii. He stopped at the MaoDonald wasin a field doing some fencing, and accompanied by two older MacDonald boys, Willard and Wendell. went to look for him. while stopped near the intersect- ion of the Rlverdale Road and the Bonshaw Highway, the boys went into a house to make . enquires the highway. He couldn't say whether the body had been moved. He stayed at the scene for almost 45 minutes. when he was absent, the nearest doctor was at crapaud. nine miles distant.
