Everybody welcome. -INJURED AT TRACK - Mr. Kenneth Smith of Alberton re- celved numerous cuts and bruises and a severe leg injury when run Into by one of the race horses at the Maple Leaf Speedway at Me- Nelllis Mills on Wednesday. Ap- parently the horses were scoring when the accident occurred and Mr. Smith was standing too close to the track and was struck by the wheel of a sulky driven by Roy Murphy. He was taken by car to his home in Alberton and is expected to be confined to bed for a week or so. -CHILDREN ARE GUESTS - Chlldren of all ages from three up, were the special guests oi the Summerside Y's Men at their regular supper meeting at Rob- son's Restaurant last evening. The occasion was a father-son or daughter banquet. and the child- ren of the members were given a delicious supper followed by en- tertainment which took the place of the regular meeting. Mr. John Taylor performed many weird and mysterious magical acts which brought rounds of applause from the children present as weliias from the members, and a movie in color brought the entertain- ment to a close..Master David Mercer very capabiy said the blessing and Ya Clarence Mercer was chairman.
