" IS Excellency the Lieutenant Governor, in Council, was this day pleased to fix and determine the rate at which the amount of the invoice of dutiable Goods imported into this Island from the United States of America, shall, in estimating the duties payable thereon, be reduced into current money of the Island, as follows : In all cases where such Invoices shall be made out in Dollars and Cents 0t tne paper currency ot the United ‘c‘tates, the amount of such invoice shall be reduced into current money of this Island by al- lowing for each Dollar the sum of Four shillings and eight pence, and in thelike proportion for any fraction of a Dollar,——of which all Collectors of Impost are to take notice, and govern themselves accordingly.
