S. of the article in ques- tion, 18a deliberate falsehood, manufactured with the most malicious design. I need not say that I have no wish to enter into any con- troversy with such a writer as the editor of the Presbyterian, but as it has come to my ear that those who are aiding and abetting him in his present course of action towards me, are busy circulating his false statements, J am thus compelled, in self-defence, to contradict them publicly.
