Although she had been in failing health for some time tiie end came suddenly and un- expectedly, The late Mrs. Whitehead was the daughter of the late William and Marion Brown of Margate, where she passed her early years. In 1905 she married Major W. W. Whitehead and her home was in Clinton till the death or her hus- band after which she moved to Kensington and later to Charlotte- town. In these places she made many friends. who will sincerely regret her passing. In recent years m she made her home with her sister of Firestone, Bryenton and McKay.
