RICHARD WOOD -The funeral service for the late Mrs. Richard Wood of Cole- man was held from the residence of her son Fred in Coleman on Tuesday afternoon, June 17th, and was conducted by her minis- ter, the Rev. W. G. Dickson, who was assisted by the Rev. C. O. Howlett, and the Rev. Roy Mac- Naught. The main service was held in the Bethei United Church. which was packed to overflowing by neighbors, friends and rela- tives of one who was known and loved by all. Favorite hymns were sung by the choir with Mrs. E. L. Mac- Dougall as organist. A comforting message was brought by Rev. Mr. Dickson. He paid a sincere tri- bute to Mrs. Wood, who was in her 87th year. as a devoted mo- ther, a faithful wife. a kind friend and one who knew and served Christ. The minister was assisted by Rev. Roy MacNaught. Rev. C. 0. Hewlett and Mr. Hcher H. Hardy. Interment was in the Bethei United Church cemetery. Besides her sorrowing husband. she leaves to mourn one son. Her finger-tip length vcdi was caught up on the left side with a single rose, and she carried a shower bouquet of Starlight roses, stcphanotis, bouvardia and forget- me-notls.
