The president, Laurie Coles of Siimmerside, presided at the. meeting and he was assisted by vice-president R. D. Donnelly. The highlight of the meeting was the presentation ‘by L. J. Topshee, regional manager for Canada Creosoting Truro, N.S., of a film on “Pres- sure -Treating of Structural Tim- ber.”” The film also showed the many ways that wood can be used to replace iron,and steel in construction projects. After the film Mr. Topshee gave an short talk followed by an inier- esting question and answer pe-- iod.
