It was started on its way by the agent of the Wells-Fargo Express Company at Bartlett, Texas, on March 13th, 1913. He placed an ex- press tag on it with the following iii- structions; “I am not worth much bpt I like to be moving, so tng me and send me along, but return me soon." From Texas it moved through Cali- fornia, being in Sacramento on April 2, since which time it has passed through twelve different States and in Canada has travelled through Quebec, New Brunswick, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, ar- riving in Charlottetown on the ninth and leaving again on the twelfth. At each stop it was tagged by the ex- press agent and these tags, 104 in all, contain the name and date of the office and in some cases additional ln- structions or remarks; the Island’s tags also included several prospect-l uses of fox companies.
