A Inventor or Airless Tire Dies In Ohio DAYTON, 0.-(AP)-John A. Macmillan, '19. inventor of the airless auto tire, died on June -'1 after several years of failing health. . Macmillan was born on A farm on Prince Edward Island Nov. 18, 1812. He was educated at Prince of Wales College and later taught school on the Island. Among the surviving relatives is a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth MacDonald of 32 Pow- nal Street, Charlottetown.
