He had us- parently been enjoying his usual good health when he left his house in the morning to do some work in a corner of one of his fields. When he failed to return for dinner, his son. Vernon went to see what caused the delay. and was shocked to discover his father lifeless on the ground. The horse and plow were standing a short distance further on. The circumstances were such that little could be done. The Community suffers a great loss. for Mr. Drake wu a highly respected citizen. He was a suc- cessful farmer with a fine horns and farm equipment. He took an active and intelligent interest h public affairs and was a val- uedfmember of Cornwall United Church and was general treasur- .
