Mr. Campbell said the simplicity of the set grew from the simplicity of staging at the Stratford festival. The program described the pro- duction as "the platform version of 'Saint Joan, " and "the bare bones of play acting." The simplicity idea had been carried further on the theory that the play would be equally exciting with six or seven persons each playing two or more roles. The group will tour 22 Canadian centres.
