The deceased has not had very robust health for the past four or five yearsand was ‘at the time of his death confined to bed. But on Thursday his death came rather unexpectedly. His wife predeceased him seven- teen years ago. There are left to mourn a kind and tender father, six sons George, Joseph, Albert, Frank, Clarence and Charles and one daughter, Mary A. The funeral which took place on Saturday was largely attended thus showing how highly he was esteemed by his many friends. The funeral service was con- ducted by Rev. J. C. McLean, P. A» andwlth tender care he was laid to -rest by the hands of his six sons. Although dead his memory still lives with us for he was beloved by all who knew him.
