IN MEMORIAM JAMES I. MAflhAtlGl-ILIN On Monday, May 9, 194D, the community of Mount Stewart was shocked by the sudden passing of James F‘. MacLaughlin. As it came into the worrld so did his soul pass into the kingdom beyond, quietly, and at peace with itself. The deceased had enjoyed hs usual good health end had been about the tasks of the farm all day. At. dusk, he complained of feeling tired and suddenly he passed from this life to life eter- nal truly in answer to the divine call “Come, my good and faithful servant, enter into the joys of the Lord." Mr. Macbeughiin wes born in this community Just elgttnty years ago and resided here all his lite. l-le leaves to mourn besides his sorrowing widow, one daughter Mary and an adopted son Joseph Coade, also one sister Mrs. Mary A.
