A iirnt wave of iindelivercd letters came to the Dead Letter Oillce today--fourteen sacks of mail. with 5,000 letters in each, and over $7.000 in dimes, to be handled by the Dead' Letter Onlce clerks and, if poss'ible. returned to tlie senders. These let- ters were forwarded here _from the Minneapolis post oflice, where they were received from their many thous- ands of expectant senders.
