BIG DEMAND FOR PELTS.- Dr. Leo Frank yesterday received word from New York that there is a very big demand for silver hliick fox skins ot' the' second und' third grades. lie is advised that the New York market could take up this year as many as five thousand pelts if the island can produce them, and that under the clrcuinstances the advice is to kill all foxes that are undesi-iiiblt-I in a ranch and have them ready so that they may he sold at either the New York or St. Louis' sales. This means that the pelts must reacli those cities by at least the eighth of January. lt is advised that i-.incliers ship the pelts to the Fur Sales Board in Char- lottetown us they have the best fac- ilities to market same and are get- ting prices that are very satisfactory.
