Although the deceased had beenl in failing health for some time,l after receiving treatment for one? month in the Prince Edward Is-I land Hospital, his condition seem- ed,greatly improved and he re-, turned home. But on the evening! of the above mentioned date hel suffered a heart attack and before. medical help could reach he passed away. His sudden death came as a great shock to his fam-3 lly and to the community at large. The late Mr. Reeves was born at South "reetown on August 19,- 1899, the son of Hubert Reeves and Margaret Ann Buchanan and except for two years in Western Canada, his entire life was spent; on the old homestead. He was greatly interested in all matters concerning the school and 1951 community and any project under- taken for advancement in these received his whole-hearted support. A faithful member of the Home and School Assoociation. he had also been a member of the schooil board for 21 years. I Of a kind and genial disposition, he was always ready to lnlp any- one in need. and his death will mean a great loss to the com- he will be greatly missed. the home around which his whole life! centred. .
