OBITUARY MRS. STEPHEN DOYLE (Inserted by her family) The death occured suddenly on Feb. 10; 1965 of Mrs. Stephen Dov'e. age 70 years. -She was taken suddenly ill, and removed to Cherlottetown Hospital where sho assed peacefully away shertlv after entering Rorn Ida Bell MacDougall at New Argyle, Sept. 28, 1894, where she later met and mar- ried Stephen Doyle, and has re- sided in this city since, with the exception of twelve years spent | at Port Borden. Being of a kind and friendly nature she made a host of friends who will mourn her passing. But it is in the home she will be sorely missed, where her devotion and guidance toward her family was her first concern. She - leaves to mourn the loss of a kind and lo- ving wife and mother her hus- band, two daughters Ida of Tor- onto, (Mildred) Mrs. Alan Ed- gar. Toronto and four sons Al- fred, Stephen, Leo and Ernest, all of this city. Also one sister (Minnié) Mrs. H.W. MacNevin, Bonshaw, one brother Albert, New Aravie. After attending school in Try- on, he entered Business Col- lege in Charlottetown. He w empioyed for several years in the Royal Bank of Canada in Vancouver, B.C, and during both the First and Second World Wars, served with the Canadian Army e He took a keen interest in tracing the family history, and in this regard, carried on a wide correspondence with and met persons from several countries. In his very quiet, reserved man- ner, he endeared himself to all. He was a member of the Mason- ic Lodge in Vancouver and Cra- paud, and also a member of the |Royal Canadian Legion. | Born in Tryon, the son of Al- bro, and the late Mrs. Howatt, jhe leaves to mourn his father; brother, Heath, and sister,Ru- by of Tryon; and a foster bro- ther, Fred Wotton, Parkdale.
