The work of straightening the road between the Pooh's Garage and the Cardigan road has been almost completed and is a work worthy of mention. This new road has eliminated two unnecessary bad turns which have been ob- jectionable for the pest years. The road has been made quite wide and has been graveiled sufficiently to give it a hard surface. Earlier this summer the sharp tum at Mum's making t turn far less danger. ous than it has been hitherto. This hill has claimed many serious ac- cidents and it was soon realized that the road must be straighten- ed out in order to prevent more serious accidents. This work has been completed and it is Pfltsible I that this new road may soon be paved thus completing the paved highway. — ban. A beautiful picture in Montague is the 8t.
