SEVERELY INJURED. — Word has been received from Toronto that Mrs. F‘. G. Larkin has sustain- ed scvere injuries by failing down a cellar stairs. She and Dr. Larkin came to their apartment about mid- night, after spending an enjoyable evening with friends. Mrs. Larkln, wishing a drink, opened the cellar door by mistake, and fell to the bottom of a twelve step stair. X Ray reveals that she has a. broken wrist and a broken pelvic bone, besides suffering from severe shock. Later accounts say that shells improving. Pneumonia at first threatened, but that condition has ciesredup, and good hopes are held out for her re- covery. All her family were able to meet at her bedside. Mrs. Larkin is a sister of Mr. Allan Forsythe of this city. The many friend of Mrs. Catherine Smith will learn with regret of her passing at the Char- lottetown Hospital on Sunday March 31st at the advanced age of 88 years.
