National Secretary, took charge of the work the lst of December and has been most energetic in building up the activities of the Association. Ai- though Mr Cross came in at a most discouraging time when the finances were low and the membership ot` the Association much reduced,hehastaken hold of the work with a strong hand and secured the respect of the Board of Directors and the goodwill of our_ citizens to a marked degree. Much valuable service has been freely given by members of our Asso- ciation, which has enabled us to keep down expenses to the extereme limit.
