lottetown was held in the reading-
room of the institution last evening,
the President. Mr J. K. Ross, in the
chair, with Mr H. C. Cross, Secretary.

National Secretary, took charge of the
work the lst of December and has
been most energetic in building up
the activities of the Association. Ai-
though Mr Cross came in at a most
discouraging time when the finances
were low and the membership ot` the
Association much reduced,hehastaken
hold of the work with a strong hand
and secured the respect of the Board
of Directors and the goodwill of our_
citizens to a marked degree.
Much valuable service has been
freely given by members of our Asso-
ciation, which has enabled us to keep
down expenses to the extereme limit.
Our Board feel that Mr Cross should
have an assistant in his work, and
trust that funds will be available to
