Every inch of this section is hallow-
ed ground to me. It was here when
over 70 years ago my Father with
his parents landed from England.
1-ters where they went into the vir-
gin forest and gave the best days of
their lives to the making of future
homes. There where they are all
buried save those who lost t' ;ir
lives nearly forty years ago vlicn,
the schooner Emeline went down oh
East Point and one uncle the only
living survivor of that generation of
the Clay family now nearly ninety
years `of age. Dear old man, how
good it was to look into his face as
it brought to memory the faces of
those long since passed away. While
here our friend, Ackly, through press
of business was called home and after
spending ten days at Bridgetown we
left for Charlottetown. At Annon-,
dale we called for oil and meeting
merchant McFarlane had a few hours
of very pleasant fellowship. Head
winds forced the crew. now of only
-two on the Dellie to seek shelter and
Murray Harbor again became our
refuge. How often it happens we
reach one another through the "in-
ner Man" for in seeking food at the
Beach we found the greatest of hos-
pitality. Capt. Chapman and his
charming wife and daughter the
J ordons and 'many others all impres-
sing us with their kindness. A
continuation of head winds forced
us -to remain here through the week
and we gasolined up to Murray Har-
bor proper. Here we met Mr. I.
Prowse proprietor of the hotel, his
wife and daughter whose thought-
fulness we’ll never forget. Excur-
sions to Murray River in the Dellie,
clam bakes, deep sea fishing, duck
shooting, have all been engased in
making Murray Harbor a very at-
tractive place. Already we are
planning great things of spand for
next summer with a party of fifteen
or twenty to camp on the Island
