Cooper, rural dean Rector - of St. George's Church. and Rev. Dr. A. L. Fraser, pastor of Saint Luke's United i Church. Bathurst. The casket then WBs taken to the auditorium of Trinity Church where further serv- ice was conducted by Rev. Mr. Miller. The Scripture lesson was read by Rev. F. H. McIntosh, Campbellton, prayer was offered by Rev. L. H. Mc- Lean. Newcastle, and the funeral ad- dress was delivered by Rev. H. C. Rice, of Queen ‘ Square ‘United Church, Saint John, and a former pastor of Trinity. The address was appreciative of the life and labors of the late Mr. Johnson. referring to‘ the very general regret in his passing both in the Marltimes‘ and New- foundland. A full choir under the direction of Miss Jean Miller, organist, sang at‘ the parsonage, “Nearer My God to.
