I was very pleased to see the large number of students who turned out to hear Premier Bennett Campbell in the Library Lounge Tuesday afternoon.l thought the questions asked were good ones and felt the Premier answered them very well. I am looking forward to April 23,Election Day,to see if this Campbell can pull off another Liberal victory. Personally,I don’t thimk it can be done. I hope everyone has a good next two weeks and that we get caught up with all the work we left until the last minute.Considering that we have less than two weeks left,do we really have much choice? Pig Lover The Editor The Sun: After reading this issue of the SUN I'd like to say that the SUN without "Jock Talk" is the sane as a sandwid1 without meat . or cheese. I am not a sports fan and think too .mDCh space in your paper is devoted to this un— interesting subject but I like the humour and good sense that I can get in "JOCK Talk"....please do not discontinue it. Duffy Amphitheatre (THAT MEANS" YOU-YES,ALL OF YOU ) Dear Madam, So,that is Mr. Bennett Campbell.We could have done worse.Many times and places will bear that out. Many of us dont pay taxes or vote yet,so our influece on and importance to him is, given the realities of political life,understand— ably minimal,all false sen- timents aside. enjoyment has been cut short.Why are the bands finishing at I2:30 instead of the customary I:00? A person like Mr.Campbell deals every day in terms of ~trade—offs and compromises with joes that look exactly like what some of us are going to look like.It sounds like a soul —eroding jdb. Its not with surprise that I feel he resented some and -the youthful idealism that surrounds the nuclear power project.Its unfortunate.to say the least that the powers that be should have rushed that piece of work passed us with so little appeal to the electorate.It is very unlikely that we will move to buy ourselves out of the deal while we can, expensive as that might be, it might prove,eventually cheaper.So little grass roots dialogue leads to a groundswell of alienation. Also it sounds like our home—grown politicians have been turned by the high technology motor mouth big city boys. Asking a technocrat how to solve an energy problem is ‘ .like asking Nixon who shoulC be the next Prez. One thing we can be sur I it will get worse before It gets better. h roberts 6 Of;
