S Work, because on the re- ligious training of the youth depends the future of the men,f and in the religious tuition of a people depends the destiny of a nation and “on the religious training of a man depends his eternity“He also asked teachers to put their hearts into the work and to try and understand their scholars and how to deal with them. The last item of the Session was an address by the Field Secretary, in which he referred to the study of the Word of God, and this value of the Bible, he said: If we have purity in politics, if we have social and civic reform, we must cling to the Bible, deprived of the Bib1e,we would be void of all that is good in literature If we neglect the study of God’s Word we cannot become strong, Christian men and women. At the close of his address Mr. Raymond answered questions regarding S. S. work. A vote of thanks was tendered the residents of Union Road, for their hospit- ality, and to the choir, and the Field Secretary tor the part they took in mak- ing the convention a success. Rev. G. P.
