Trading activity expanded as prices climbed. The day's turnover o! 1,320,000 shares, tops in around three weeks. compared with 1,- 200,000 Tuesday. The Associated Press average o! 6O stocks jumped one Iull point to 63.6, the largest since a similar move on Oct. 22. It was previously exceeded on June 8 and again on May 14.
