Not a lot really, other than the fact, we were all among the mass- es waiting patiently to get inside. The Wave last Thursday to see "Canada's Number One Tribute Band To AC/DC"— Dirty Deeds. Well, that last part is a lie; we weren't waiting patiently - we were anxious and wanted to get the hell out of the cold and to beat the onslaught of ghosts, goblins and monsters who had yet to appear. ol The Green Room: Complete with shirtless men and pizza You’re not the only one to check to see if she’s wearing underwear Don't get me wrong, I love Halloween; it's a great excuse to dress up and act CRAZY, but when you're outside turning blue, you probably wish your costume was a little warmer (Just ask Papa Smurf and the guys in diapers). Once inside, everyone for- got the cold as the band hit the stage. Dirty Deeds, who have toured Canada extensively, had the crowd on their feet from the open- ing guitar riff of ‘Who Made Who' to the encore of “Those About To Rock.' This band is a testament to AC/DC as they were dead-on: Ninji, mirrored the moves of Angus Young on guitar superbly as he performed amazing solos, and moved along the stage (trademark school-boy uniform and all!) with lots of energy and agility. Wade (Do these guys have last names?) had the daunting task of belting out tunes from both the Bon Scot and Brian Johnson era's of AC/DC , and did so with gusto. For two hours we were treated to classic AC/DC tunes like ‘Jail Break,' “TNT,' ‘Highway To Hell,' ‘Money Talks,’ ‘Have A Drink On Me,' “Shook Me all Night Long,' ‘Stiff Upper Lip,’ ‘Back in Black,' and of course it wouldn't have been - Luigi gets “Shown the Logo” by UPEI’s panther Last time | was into the Listerine | can’t remember the night either Halloween without ‘Hells Bells.' Dirty Deeds showed why they are one of the best cover bands around, and if they are ever in town again, you should definitely check them out. Be sure to visit their web site, www.dirtydeeds.ca for all their latest tour dates. As for the costumes, there were too many memorable ones to mention— but here are a few: the Moulon Rouge ladies, Wonder Woman, Lady Dracula, School Girls, and The Lady Musketeers — they were all good and then some. Hope to see you all next Halloween.
