The desks are of hard- wood. In Iddition to the new desks. those of modern make which were used llI the former school are utilized. - There are two very neat wash- rooms. one for boys and one for girls, and also on tho aeoond floor is a. special room with books etc. for the teachers. Hers it is intend- ed to have a radio installed with loud speaker attachment leading into the classrooms, when special subjects of an educational charac- ter ars being broadcast they can be heard by the pupils. A drinking fountain is also to be installed in the school, which is equipped with electric lighting. The windows are six feet in height by four feet in width, the panes of glass being of spacious size. Work on the construction of the school started in mid-June and was. com- pleted on August 29th. The building committee of the school district who are responsible for most of the work and planning involved are, Ralph Compton, forc- man. Stanley Tanton, Fred Mill, Earle Cannon.
