All are doing well, aud if the present state of affairs costinues, the whole party will be allowed to proceed on June 28th. On Sunday, Mon-. day and Tuesday last the Doukbobors celebrated the Feast of Tabernacics.. They were decked in their holiday attire and presented a most picturesque appearance. The funeral ceremonies are ofa unique nature. A)! the relatives of the deceased are d:awn up in two lines, one composed of men and the otherof women. Thev sing hymns, while the men ehake hands and bow to each otber in turns, and the women do likewise. Then the men etrobrace ove anotb«r and the women follow suit, and sli march up and cordole with the bead of the family. The ceremony takes up at least an hour. One of the Doukho! ors is over 100 yeur- of age and bears up weli, though the trip has fatigued him very mugh. There are several cases of dysentery among the older women, tome of whch may prove fatal.
