W. H. Mcl-(ay, Charlottetown, ex-
principal of Kensington High School,
who left for British Columbia about
four weeks ago, has secured an ex-
cellent position as teacher in that,
Province. Mr. McKay was one of the
best teachers, having raised Kensing-
ton to the front. rank of schools on
the Island. The <G\urdiaii wishes
that he may have continued success
in the lar West.
The prominence of the Queen Ho-i
tel, Halifax, and its fine manage-
ment make it an ideal place to stop
at whether on business or pleasure.
The location is simply ideal, being
within immediate reach of all the
birsiiiess centres, electric cars, thea-

time to come. The statement of ex-

commendations for improvement will
hear much consideration from sports-
men. 'Through their organizations
they should let the Government k-now
their views on these matters in order
that legislation may be based upon
at least some of them. The interest-
ing experience gained in "Canoeing
on Lake Superior" is concluded and

Exhibition and enjoy a short holi-

after spending a delightful vacation
in Belfast with Mrs. Chas. J. Mc-
William and with Miss Elizabeth Mc-
Donald at Rosencath. ,They speak

resort for tourists. The climate can-
not be surpassed and the people are
proverbial as entertainers. What is
wanted is free trade with the United
States and a- tunnel for communica-
tion with thc mainland.
