This astonishing statement ap- peirs in the Auditor-Generals re- port on Army accounts. The artic- les stolen included motor trucks, auiotnobiles. horses, mules, blank- tes, rum, cash, foodniuel, and cigar- ettes. Negligence in guarding dumps resulted in wholesale piltering, the report states. Quantities of stores were also lost through fires at 18 camps 11nd depots.
