And never have they had such a tempting range of fabrics, colors and designs to meet their fancy. According to the American In-I stitutc Men's and Boys‘ Wear, a fellow has the choice of one-button, two-button, two types of thrcebutton and four- button suits. The latter, of course, ‘ new slimmed- down double-breasted model. Neaiest is the one-button style. with trimiy tailored shoulders, the new one - button suit embodies the look of so- phistication highly prized by many men. The two-button style made rapid strides since introduction last year. The fa- vorite of President Kennedy. it is made in both natural and tai- lored shoulder versions. The three-button models are the most widely worn of all, and here the classic natural shoulder types continue to regis- ter slow but steady gains. The three-button style is al- so the most popular type in tlzoz conservative middloof the-road styles. Coast to coast favorites, these have slightly more shoul- der and chest expression than the classics. The traditional suits cleave to classic patterns such as her- ringbones, sharkskins, plaids and stripes. Many of the newer shades are achieved by blending the olives with blues, grays and soft tan tones. The resultant mixtures come under the designation “lovat” shade .
