MR8 ALEX. CHIVERIE.
The death occurred at Bradalbane
at midnight Thursday of Mrs Alex-
ander Chiverie. aged 70 years. The
deceased was formerly a resident of
Sourls, but of late years has been
residingwith her daughter, Mrs Mill-
wood Doyle, of Bradalbane, at whose
home she passed away. The remains,
accompanied by the son ot the de-
ceased, Mr W. A. Chiverie, and her
two daughters, Mrs Doyle and Mrs J.
M. Eagan, will leave Bradalbane at
l0 a.m. to-day for Souris, arriving at
the latter place at 6 p.m. The funeral
will take place from the Roman Cath-
olic Church, Souris, at 2 p.m., on
Sunday.
MRS JAMES McCABE. IONA.
After a long llie of usefulness there
passed away at Iona yesterday, Mrs
McCabe, widow of Mr James Mc-Gabe,
in lier eighty-seventh year. Mrs Mc-
Cabe is survived by six children.
Mary, widow of Mr Owen McKenna.
Orwell; Catherine and Ann a_t home.
John and Joseph at home, and Michael
in the United States. There are also
forty-seven grandchildren and seven
great-grandchildren left to mourn her
loss. The funeral takes place to-
morrow, Sunday, afternoon at three
o’cloclr, from St Michael’s Church, the
Rev. M. J. Smith ofiiclating.

MISS MAY DOVLE.
The death occurred in Charlotte-
town, on June 12, of Miss May Doyle,
aged 30 years. The deceased had
been in failing health for the past six
months. She was a daughter of Mr.
‘James Doyle, 77 ,Prince St.. Char-
lottetown, formerly of Lot 48, P. E. I.
She leaves to mourn besides a sor-
rowlng father and mother, four sisters
and four brothers. '
The funeral took place on the 13th
inst., to St. Dunstan`s Cathedral,
thence to the Roman Catholic Ceme-
tery, being largely attended. The
pall~bearers were Messrs. W. Nelson,
J. Hynes, L. Burke, J. Sweeney, L.
Mulch, J. Duffy.
