McAd- am. became the bride of James Hubert. son of Mr. and Mrs. Pat- rick lilurnaghan. Rev. J. W. Al- lan. C.S.s.ll. performed the cere- mony and celebrated the Nuptial Mass. The altar and sanctuary were beautifully decorated with vases of mixed gladioli, interspersed with vigil lights. The guest pews were marked with white satin bows. The bride entered the church on Ire arm of her father to the strains of the wedding march play- ed by Mr. Alex MacLean. Dur- ing the ceremony beautiful hymns were rendered by Miss Joan Mura- aghan and Mrs. John Walsh, Jr., sisters of the groom. The bride was beautifully attir- ed in a floor length gown of white Chantilly lace and net over satin. The matciiiiitz lace bolero had a sequins and pearls. The long sleeves tapered to points over the hands. The shoulder length veil was held in place by a tiara head- dress trimmed with seed pearls. The bride wore small pearl ear- rinizs and carried a white prayer book with s corsage of red car- Peter Pan collar with iridescent- The Church of the Most Holy sister of the bride, was flower girl. 1, Her dress was yellow nylon with matching headdress, and she car- ried a small nosegay of mixed mums. Mr. Frank Murnaghan, brother of the groom, was best man. The ushers were Mr. Fred McAdam. .lr., brother of the bride and Mr. Loyola Murnaghan, brothcr of the groom. Th bride's mother chose for her daughter's wedding a dress of pale blue lace over taffeta. with navy accessories, and wore a corsage of pink carnations. The groom's mother wore a teal blue taffeta dress, with rose accessories. and her corsage was rose carnations. Mrs. Catherine McEachern. Grandmother of the Bride, was sl- so a guest. immediately following the cere- mony the wedding breakfast was held at the Queen Hotel. where 75 guests were present. The bri- dal table was attractively decorat- ed and centered with a three tier wedding cake topped with a minia- ture bride and groom. The cake was cut in the traditional manner by the bridal couple. The duties of Master of Cere- monies were capably performed by Mr. Leo Corcoran. Rev. J. W. llan proposed the toast to the Bride to which the Groom respond- ed. Following the wedding break- fast, the bridal party and guests nations and white streamers. Mrs. Dominic Doyle. Jr.. was Matron of Honour. she wore a bal- lerina length gown of blue lace and net over taffeta, with matching bolero and picture hat and car- ried a nosegny of mixed mums.
