There is going to be a pub on Friday afternoon from 2-h:30 in the Panther Lounge. Not much is known yet of planned events but just show up at 2:00 and I'm sure you'll find some- thing going on. Well, to you Minors, it might seem there are a lot of “wet” events going on. The Fall Fest committee hasn't forgotten you. After the success and good times at the involvement '77 weekend, it was decided to have a volleyball tournament on Friday after- noon of Fall Fest. So come on, frosh, and get a team together There are other planned dry events: field hockey and soccer games on Friday; football game on Saturday; field hockey and soccer on Sunday; movie Sunday night in Duffy, and Coffee shop on Friday in Chaplaincy Centre. - ' ,, Slyder is playing for the Beer Bash Friday night (Sal) in the gym. For those of you who remember, they played a few weeks ago in the Barn. They were very good but too LOUD for the Barn, so they should APPROACHES be perfect for the Gym. This year, for the first time, a formal dance is planned for Fall Fest. If the attendance the other night at the Co-Ed was any indication, it should go over well. There is a limited number of tickets for this event. The Harvest Ball is Abeing held at the Charlottetown Hotel this year, rather than the Confederation Centre. Seating capacity is limited so get your tickets early. There might not be any left at the door. Fall fest is a break from work. Relax, take a few nights off and meet some of the other students that go to school here. There are a lot of 'licensed events planned but the co-chairmen tried to plan as many dry events as possible. They didn't have much time in which to work and plan Fall Fest and so they are asking for your assistance, ideas and cooperation during the week. Hopefully, everything will run smoothly but in case of some minor incidents (line- ups, running out of tickets, etc.), please try and be patient, as I'm sure no matter how well organ- ized an event may be, \ there is always the chance of something going wrong.
