     With the opening of Rite-Way Dry Cleaners Char- 
     
     lottetown now boasts one of the finest up-ta-date dry 
     
    
   
   
    
     cleaning plants in Eastern Canada and operation of this 
     
    
   
   
    
     new plant will help fill a long-felt want not only in the 
     
     City but also throughout the island. 
     
    
   
   
    
     Headed by Messrs. N. D. MacLean, Clifford Camp- 
     
     bell, Harvey Campbell and Louis Bagnoll, the last three 
     
     mentioned having just completed a three months train- 
     
     ing course at Dry Cleaning plants in Quebec and Ont- 
     
     ario, the public are assured of up-to-date service pro- 
     
     duced by the latest equipment, tog-ether with a staff of 
     
     trained employees. 
     
    
   
   
    
     Taken on an inspection tour through the plant one could 
     
     not help but be struck by the thoughtfulness and for-:- 
     
     sight of those responsible for its erection. 
     
    
   
   
    
     On the ground floor the clothes go through their 
     
     first process, both wet" and dry cleaning such as the 
     
     various garments may need. 
     
    
   
   
    
     From there thepare transferred to the finishing room up- 
     
     stairs where they are repaired, pressed and spotted. 
     
     Coats, sleeves and pants presses, dress presses, vest 
     
     presses are built compactly into one space and here the 
     
     garments go through several operations before they are 
     
     handed over to the checker, who inspects each garment 
     
     minutely before it is finally ready for wrapping. The 
     
     greatest of care is exercised in every operation and the 
     
     company's name, Rite-Way Cleaners is certainly a fitting 
     
     one for this fine, new plant. 
     
    
   
   
    
     ln addition to the dry cleaning angle, also in op- 
     
    

    
     , eration will be a shirt unit that gives the strictest at- 
     
    

    
     tention to the cleaning of shirts. Machinery installed is 
     
    

    
     such that shirts are'bound to come out like new and 
     
    

    
     this is a feature of the plant that is certain to find a 
     
     lot of favor among customers. 
     
    

    
     And in addition mail orders will be promptly at- 
     
     tended to so out-of-town customers will, be assured of 
     
     receiving the same high quality service that will be af- 
     
     forded to City patrons at this new Charlottetown busi-

     Fantex machinery will be in use and the different 
     
     machines were installed by Mr. Gauthier of the Col!- 
     
     adidn Pantex Machinery Co., Montreal. 
     
    
   
   
    
     A commodiaus rest room for the employees is an- 
     
     other feature of the plant. 
     
    
   
   
    
     And then again there are means provided for the 
     
     moth-proofing of garments, etc., with a 10-year guar- 
     
     antee attached against any damage by moths-during 
     
     that period. 
     
    

    
     Shower-proofing of jackets, trench-coats, eta, will 
     
     also be provided by the firm and as added protection to 
     
     the clientele insurance against fire and theft will cover 
     
     every garment from the time it leaves the customer’! 
     
     door until its return, a move that puts added stress on
