Riverside Villa, the property of Mr. Albert McKay, is now one of the cosiest and best appointed residences in this part of the Province, having been completely transformed under the skill and workman- ship of Mr. Charles Wyand, contractor. This community can boast of many curiosities, but the latest is the “ propheti- eal spider.” The insect has shown re- markable traits. The great sterms the early part of the winter were predicted by it with startling accuracy. p The Grits that exist here have lately gone intoa hole. At latest accounts they were trying to pull the hole in after them. Mr. Smith has added fresh laurela to his fame as an inventor. The latest is a very simple affair, but one every farmer who owns a fan mill should possess. It consists of a box and necessary appliance so arranged as to work automatically, that at every bushel it will click something, on the principle of the old hand reel. On Saturday evening last, as Mr. Hector Buchanan the Wheatley River Bridge, his horse took fright and jumped, not over the rail, but the place the rail ought to be—into some three feet of water and double that amount of mud. COMPANY. THURSDAY, ————— 20 YEARS OF SUFFERING. 20 Failures 10 Cure For 20 years I suffered the torments of the damned with blind and itching piles. Had I known of any cure I would not have hesitated to have given hundreds of dollars to obtain it. I followed the in- structions of an eminent physician in us- ing syringe treatments. I used Fowler’s Pile Cure and 20 others of different kiads. From some a little relief was gained, but nothing approached acure. I was about resigned tothe fate of having to pass through an almost uninterrupted course of suffering so long as I lived, when Chase’s Ointment was brougnt tomy not- ice. The statements in regard to it were so strong and bore with them a sense of conviction sufficient to overcome my skepticism in regard to its being no bet ter than the rest. I used it, with the re- sult of receiving immediate relief and per- manent cure. For weeks and weeks | was fearfully afraid of a return to misery, but it did not occur. I started using Chase’s Ointment, hoping for relief and realized a cure that is permanent. I do not believe there ever was a worse case otf blind and itching piles than mine, which leads me to think there is nota case to Li recorded that Chase’s Ointment will not cure, Yours truly, Gero.
