     September) at 7:30 p.m. at the Farm Centre, 420 University Avenue, Charlottetown. Members 
     
     and non-members are welcome. Please bring your coffee cup so that we will contribute as

     The Song Sparrow (Melospiza melodia) breeds across North America from 
     
     the Aleutian Islands east to Newfoundland, south to Baja California, western 
     
     Mexico, New Mexico east top northwest South Carolina. Winters from southern 
     
     Canada and U.S. Border to about Central Mexico. Its 3 to 6 pale green to 
     
     green-white eggs are heavily speckled, spotted, and blotched with reddish 
     
     browns. It nests among matted clumps of grass and leaves to low down in 
     
     shrubs and trees.
