By referring to the report of last year, you will sec that it was predicted that the year 1025 would go down in history as the largest that this Association would ever experience. This prediction we are glad to state from the number of members and the number of registrations ap- plied for has not come true aa-our Association has a membership of nearly five hundred greater than that of last year, and we find that 38,377 fox pedigrees were recorded as compared to"36,000 the previ- ous year. We also find that during the year just passed 19,185 foxes were transferred as compar- ed to 10,815 the previous year. These figures prove to~us that tbs fox industry particularly as it app lies in the members of the (Janua- Ian National Silver Fox Breeders Association is in a very flourishing condition and we look forward for this condition to improve. The last official list. completed by Canadian National Live Stock records dated March 1, 1927,‘ shows membership‘ by provinces as follows: Saskatche- wan 79, British Columbia 106, Alb- erta 148, Manitoba 173, Quebacflfitl. Nova Scoiia 312, New Brunswick 447, Ontario 530, and Prince Ed- ward-lsland, 1200 making n total of 3254 members. We also have some 7 members residing Ir. the United States as well as several in Europe.
