ELLIS.-On the morning of the 26th Feb. the re- sidents of Springileld, Lot 7, were sudden demise of Mrs Neil Ellis, in the eighty second year ol' her age. Deceased was unusually bright and cheerful the day prcvioustq her pass- ing, having spent the afternoon in pleasant conversation with ,her grand- children who always seemed delight- ed to go into -her room and chat with her, but, at 10 o'elock sbs took a. severe pain which resulted in death at 730 ani despite all that skill, kind care and nursing could do for her In early life Mrs Ellis identi- fied herself with tha Baptist Church, ol which she was a consistent and aithiul member till the call came lor her to go ‘up higher ' and enter the church triumphant During the years that she was confined to her room, it was an inspiration to hear her alk on spiritual matters.
