It seems that live prominent citizens of Edmon- ton, amongst them the deceased lady, were staying at the J. D. McArthur Hotel at Lac la Birche, 126 miles north east of Edmonton. They all went out together last Wednesday afternoon on the lake in a gasoline launch. A ter- rible storm came up suddenly and lat- er the boat drifted ashore, bottom up.
