Wellner, 45 Winchester Sticet, Brookllne, Mass, formerly of Charlottetown, has been under treatment in the New England Deaconess Hospital. Boston. since October last. However, he is get- ting along weil and hopes to be able to return home in two or three weeks time. - City Police were looking for two men last night whom they believed were involved in the robbing early Monday morning of Arthur T. Bax- ton. former Charlottetown man now residing at Bordon. it; was learned last night. Sexton had been robbed o! 811 and a. silver watch. police said. According to information they received. authorities said. Sexton had been accosted by two men when he came out of a cafe on lower Queen Street shortly after midnight Sunday. They asked for a cigarette and he gave them one. The two men walked along with him for a short distance and thcn left. Near the corner of Grafton and Pownal Streets Sexton said he was agaluaccosted‘ by the two men who asked for twenty-five cents. After a short conversation, in which Sexton told the two he had no change, nothing but bills, they knocked him down and took his money and watch. Police said they had been given a good description of the men by Sexton who declared that he rec- ognized them as former school ac- quaintances. Sexton is employed on the 8.8. Charlottetown at Bor- den. Ten milch cows, five curves, and three horses were burned to death last evening when fire of unknown origin destroyed a barn owned by Warburton Murray. Piusville, ten miias from O'Lu.ry. 700 bushels oat-s and a quantity of hay were included in the loss. One horse was saved from the blazing bulld- tng. No accurate estimate of the loss was available last night, but it was bet-eyed to be in the vicin- lty of $8,000. It is not known whether there was any insurance. The fire was discovered shortly after 6 o'clock, it was said, and had at that time gained consider- able headway. A stiff breeze fan- ned the flames which spread with great. rapidity. The flames could be seen for miles. residents in adjoining dis- tricts said. Residents at Piusvllle could not. be reached last night. to learn full details of the fire asthe district has no telephone commu- nlcation.
