I Wendy Sauer Carnival Ball Blues It has come to the atten— tion of a number of single girls on this campus, that the male population at this university is comprised of ' a group of self-centered individuals, who think of nothing but themselves and their prestige. We have co— me to this conclusion for a very highly justifiable reason. ~ As everyone knows, the Carnival Ball will be com— ing up this Saturday. This is considered the biggest event of the year, but look around guys, is the girl sitting next to you in class going?!? You will see that the only girls going so far are those that are going steady or were lucky enough to be asked by a mature man! we say man be— cause the majority of boys on this campus are just that —— little boys! Con- trary to common belief -— if a male on this campus asks a girl to the Ball, she will Q2; expect his un- dying love forever after. Also, contrary to common belief, no guy will get shot down if he asks a girl to the Ball because this is one of the very few times during the year that a girl can get dressed up and re- ally enjoy herself.‘ Would it physically harm any male on this campus to ‘give up three hours of his precious time to escort a girl to the Ball??? Think about fl2guys, maybe you'll enjoy yourself as much or even more than the girls! Hopeful girls, UPEI ' 74
