It was only by the greatest ex- ertions that the paint shop and storehouse were saved, «as also the office buildings of Mr. G. A. Haggerty. A valuable engine in the machine shop was destroyed, as well 1s all the toolsof the workmen. Twelve cars of lumber and freight, which were on a siding, were consumed.
