Restrictions 0n Non-Dollop Goods CANBERRA, (AP)-Australia re- laxed restrictions Friday on a wide range of non-dollar imports, The cabinet. also made decisions aimed at making trade easier with Japan, acting Prime Minister Sir Arthur Fadden announced. The import relaxations. he said, will amount to increasing by 10 per cent quotas of various imports from non-dollar and non-Japanese sources, The decision is a further step in the progressive relaxation of the import controls imposed last year, Fadden said. IN MEEANORIAM MRS. ROY Ml.cLAlNE The death occurred in the P. E. I Hospital on June 6, of Mrs. Roy MacLaine in her 56th year. In nil her illness and confine- ment to a sick bed her courageous spirit was ever revealed. Mrs. Mac- Lnllic was born in Forest. Hill, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alan Macl..eod. Since her marriage she lived in St. Peters' Bay where she endeared herself to everyone who knew her. She possessed a friendly personality which made for her a host of friends. In her own home she was the center of hospitality. Through her unselfish spirit, love and goodwill which she always exemplified her passing came as a great shock to all who were privileged to know her and especially to her husband and fain- ily who were able to be home in her final illness. The Church which she loved- rts worship, organizations and act- ivities-she always supported with a generous devotion and loyalty. in the community her llltllly acts sf kindness will be sorely missed out will ever remain a rich re- nembrance in the hall of memory. MacLeod, and a former minister, Rev. D. Wallace MacPherson, conducted the ser- vices. Mr. lllacLeod spoke. a mes- sage of comfort. in ”a home that is r-carnal, not. made with hands". Hymns sting were "Rock of Ages" and "Abide With Me". Mr. Walter Burdett, a personal friend of the deceased, sang ”The Last Mile of the Way". The casket, banked with a pro- fusion of flowers, bearing mute evidence of the esteem of the de- parted friend, was borne to its last resting place in Midgell Cemetery by the following pallbearers: Ed- ward Qulgley, James Lewis, John Sutherland.
