The funeral of William l). Mellon-`
gall, was held from his lute home on
Bunaccord street, Sunday afternoon
ng thre o’clock, and was very largely
uttended. There wus a short service
at the house. and also nt the grave,
conducted by ltcv. D. iilacodrum, as-
sisted by Rev. E.-ll. Mcliatchey. The
members of the Highfield street Bap-
tist choir, rendered appropriately the
following hymns, "Ablde With M_e,"
"bead Kindly Light." and “Nearer
My God to 'l‘lice," which werei the
favorite hymns of the deceased. The
pallbearers were four brothers of the
late Mr. McDo\igall, namely, Alexan-
der, Johu, Biswark, and Fraser. The
