He reports that while both industry and agricul- ture have naturally been affected by world‘ conditions during the past, few years, there is now a strong feeling of optimism. Con- trusting conditions in Canada with those prevailing in the United States, he sees abundant grounds for thankfuiness. Orilla, Mr. Hale mentioned, had the first municipal electrical power system to be es- tablished in America. The power plant is situated on the Severn River, nineteen miles from the town. The low cost of electricity enables it to be used very exten- sively for domestic as well as pow- er and lighting purposes. This has been a big factor in keeping down expenses. Mr. Hale paid a warm tribute to the work of the Women's Institutes in Ontario, and also the School Fair movement. He attends conventions as he can, and features ,. ‘ “v these activities, which he believes arc of great importance in rural communities. In view of the necessity for so many families to economize, J. E. Morse 8t Company conceived the idea of bringing out a package tea that would meet the ideas of tea drink- ers both as to quality and price. It was no easy tiling to do, becaugg tea. drinkers in this country are V91‘? critical, but in MORSES BLUENOSE ‘YEA. this firm de- veloped a package tea that any tea drinker can enjoy, to sell at a price l so low that people who were drink- ing bulk teas have found it un- necessary to do so any longer, and are buying BLUENOSE TEA by preference, finding it uniform and dependable in quality. The price is only 35 cents per pound package, which is no greater than the price of ordinary bulk tea. MORSES BLUENOSE TEA immediately be- came such a favourite that the firm's output has increased mater- ially. Thus it is that they are find- ing business active in spite of the prevailing conditions. v SPECIAL !
