Palmer Road North. was struck by lightning last Fri- day afternoon using consider- able damage, the second such occurence in the last three years. The lightning bolt struck the cor- ner of the eve and entered the home via an upstairs window. It followed along the wall and left by a downstairs window. but in the process it ripped out the win- dow sills, set fire to the wall- paper, burned off the curtains and set fire to II carpet in the upstairs room.
